Start by enternig model or brand name
EXAMPLE:
- for laptop battery serial number from the battery or laptop model.
say ( a31-n56 ) - if you enter Asus in front, you will get other Asus batteries as well
- for lead-acid battery - capacity and than voltage (say: 6V 1.2Ah)
- for any other battery - capacity and than chemistry ( say: 1300mAh li-ion )
Basically you need to search for something that is characteristic for that product
